The sixth international conference The Future of Information Sciences (INFuture) is co-organised by the Department of Information and Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Miroslav Krleža Institute of Lexicography.

The Future of Information Sciences (INFuture) is a biennial conference aimed at researchers and professionals from the field of information and communication sciences and related fields. The objective of the conference is to provide a platform for discussing both theoretical and practical issues in information organisation and information integration, as well as to explore how developments in information and communication technology influence the future of the information and communication sciences.

One of the topics of this year's conference INFuture 2017: Integrating ICT in Society is dedicated to the lexicography and encyclopaedistics in the digital media.
