First-stage evaluation of the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation announced

The Miroslav Krleža Institute of Lexicography has successfully passed the first stage of evaluation of the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation.

Following the call for proposals announced in 2018, 42 applications were shortlisted (700 applications were submitted at the first stage).

The Institute is the lead partner in the application Stronger together: Building visible and sustainable online encyclopaedias for free access to reliable knowledge in an era of post-truth and propaganda, which is being developed in collaboration with the Great Norwegian Encyclopedia, the National Library of Latvia, and the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts as the members of the consortium.

Through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway support European cross-border and transnational project initiatives between the donor countries, the beneficiary countries, and ten non-EU Member States. EEA and Norway Grants are contributing to reducing social and economic disparities in Europe and strengthening bilateral relations between the donor countries and 15 beneficiary countries in Northern, Central, and Southern Europe.

The deadline for the submission of the full proposals is 4 July.
